Following the gruesome Killing of Deborah Samuel (a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State, Northwest Nigeria], the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), called out the entire Christian community in the country to rally (protest) and demand that justice be served to the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
In line with the directive, the members of All Christians Fellowship Mission, led by the General Overseer Rev. [Dr.] William Okoye, held a peaceful protest at the church premises in Maitama, Abuja. With placards calling for action against the unjust and inhumane killing of Deborah, Rev. Okoye called for the immediate prosecution of the persons responsible for her killing and charged Christians in the North of the country to remain steadfast in the face of persecution.
